Hello....it's Monday. Did not post this weekend, because I was on a roller coaster with the weight. On Saturday I was up a pound or two, felt like I was retaining water, thought that might be the bottle of Pelligrino mineral water I drank....or maybe the watermelon. Sunday I was down a pound, and I had watermelon. I am down 2 more pounds this morning....2 bites of watermelon yesterday. Am excited to make Cerviche for dinner, with my tomatoes and limes. I lost another pound....yeah! Was worried about it because I substituted watermelon for apple. It wasn't on the list, but has less sugar content than apple and I know it has less calories and is mostly water. So it worked. Went to baseball game yesterday, and that was brutal....worse than watching the food channel. I believe I watched the lady eat all of her nachos. I think it's that Ruffles thing again......if I could just lay it on my tongue, I would be happy. Oh well I made it through the day, although it was still a little light when I went to bed, but I was tired......2 am comes early. Well go to run busy, busy. Have an awesome day!

Day 7 of the VLCD, and I have lost 10 pounds. WooHoo!!!!! Have not really been hungry so to speak. I believe the hcg drops help that, and being focused on what I am wanting to accomplish. Getting rid of the fat around the torso (which is linked to heart disease, and is a heavy factory in my family history) is very motivating. I was measured at the doctors office and have lost inches....didn't total up yet, but it was good. Tried on some different shorts yesterday, the fit but not comfortable like it like them (a little loose and baggy), size 6 though! I do have a pair of shorts that I was to be able to wear, and I will be wearing them in a few short weeks. I think one of the reasons for my success, is I can't smell so any smells of food don't bother me. Will really help at the baseball game today, POPCORN.....ARGGGGGG!!!! Well til next time. I weighted myself this morning at 3 am when I got up....had to irrigate, and a couple of times after just to double check, and no weight loss. Not discouraged though, maybe it was the 2 small tomatoes with dinner, or have been constipated since Tuesday, so I took some Calm (Ingredients: A highly absorbable proprietary blend of Magnesium Citrate in ionic form, Stevia and Natural Orange Flavor) (contains no yeast, dairy, egg, gluten, soy, wheat sugar, starch, preservative or artificial color or flavor)....but couldn't be helped, didn't want to much stinkin' thinkin'. Very tired yesterday, but had a busy day and evening on Saturday. So off I go today, not much sleep last night but want to get things accomplished for the week ahead. There are Ruffles here (my favorite) and they were calling my name, and I even thought I could taste them....probably using up a Ruffles fat cell, so I am going to put away and save them for when I can have a few....emphasis on the word few. Well I survived the BBQ at my house last night, I wanted a glass of wine but that was a quick thought and then went away. Have lost 7 pounds in 3 days. First 2 days I was weak in the morning, but today I felt better. Had 400 calories yesterday. Haven't felt hungry and been watching the food channel (weird), don't know if it's because of the staples in ears, shear determination, knowing it won't be FOREVER, and a combination of all of the above. Very constipated and have been drinking at least 1 gallon of water per day......hmmmmmm, stinkin' thinkin', as someone always told me. Well got to go, busy, busy.

Sorry I missed yesterdays entry, but it was crazy. Started VLCD, and was not hungry. Had ear cuffs put in (acupuncture). The left one was okay and right one hurt a little. Now it's the opposite, I but I must say something is working, don't know if it's me or that. Had to go shopping for BBQ next door tonight (their son leaving for Navy), and the one here tomorrow night (my son leaving for the Air Force), but was walking through Wal-Mart, in the rice, pasta aisle looked over and there was carbs staring me in the face, for a split second I wanted some, but it went away.
I lost 3 pounds yesterday, but I only had 267 calories, and I might be paying for it today, when I was out in the garden picking green beans I felt a little weak. Have more coffee and I'll be just fine.
Went to a class last night to learn flat knotted netting, for making fishing nets or hammocks and there is temptation all over, M&M's behind the counter, and there was coffee cake, it bothered me for a split second and then went away. I believe refocusing your attention is key. Another thing I noticed was the humidity level went up, seemed a little more sticky in the house, kid said it was me......don't know. I am running my evap cooler.
I am back to eating to live, vs. living to eat. I just don't care about eating.

Second day of Fat Loading. Stomach hurt yesterday afternoon (not use to eating all that fat laden food...YUK!) and told my husband we would go out for dinner, so he was looking forward to it. After all we were going out for sushi, you'd think I would be jumping for joy, but I wasn't....did manage to drag myself to the Blue Wasabi, and yes they have blue wasabi, glow in the dark blue. It defiantly would stain anything it came in contact with. Very good, gave us coupon for 50% off next Monday, ARGGGGG, can't use it.
Woke up this morning and wasn't hungry, managed to choke down some strawberry greek yogurt, unfortunately it contains no fat. But fear not my little readers, we are going out with the family tonight to Carraba's.
My husband told me something today that will be a great mantra....it's just mind over matter, that's why people can walk on hot coals, because it's mind over matter.
